Shenandoah released a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute song called “Freebird In The Wind“. It features Charlie Daniels reading lyrics to a poem that’s etched into a bench beside the late Ronnie Van Zant’s grave. Ronnie was the band’s lead singer and was close friends with Charlie. Proceeds from the song will go to the group’s official charity, the Lynyrd Skynyrd Foundation. (see here)
