I try to order something from a local bar/restaurant at least once a week, I know it isn’t much…but I’m just trying to do what I can to help out some of the local places. My son works at a restaurant in East Peoria and is staying busy cranking out some tasty eats for anyone who wants to put in an order and come pick it up. This last weekend, I had a huge honkin western burger and fries, went to the double G with an E (clearly not it’s real name) to pick it up and smiled because there were about 10 cars or so in the parking lot doing the exact thing I was doing. We all waved to each other as we waited for them to bring it out for us to take home and enjoy and feel good for helping out a community place for eats.
