PEORIA, Ill. — The longest-running Santa Claus Parade in the country will go on, but, it will look a little different this year.
Due to COVID-19, spectators will drive through a stationary Santa Claus Parade in downtown Peoria Friday morning.
The 133rd Santa Claus Parade is scheduled for 9:00-10:15 a.m.
Cars will drive past the parade starting at Jefferson and Main, continuing north on Main, turning right on Monroe, and staying on Monroe through Spalding, where the parade route ends.
Drivers should expect heavier traffic and some delays at the following intersections downtown from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.:
