BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – A former Pekin resident and former piano teacher is going to prison for the rest of his life.
Our news partner 25 News reports a judge in McLean County Friday handed Aaron Parlier a total of 450 years in prison with no possibility of parole, after being convicted last October ago of a total of 20 counts of Production of Child Pornography and Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child.
The judge gave Parlier 15 years for each Child Pornography count, and 30 years for each assault charge. He could have faced a total of 900 years in prison.
Parlier allegedly assaulted each of the victims while providing them the lessons in the Bloomington area.
Parlier still has five more trials, and his attorney is reportedly withdrawing from the case.
