FARMINGTON, Ill. – A Farmington teacher’s aide accused of allegedly soliciting a minor for sex at her home pleaded not guilty Monday morning.
25 News reports 39-year-old Kelli Miller made the plea to the Class Three felony charge of indecent solicitation of a child.
Miller’s bond was also changed to allow her to be present around children with adult supervision at family functions and events. She can also be allowed on Farmington Central District property when given permission from the district.
Miller allegedly solicited a 13-year-old victim who was staying at his girlfriend’s house on August 17th, with Miller reportedly the girlfriend’s mother.
She allegedly had been drinking and sent the victim messages on Snapchat, asking for oral sex throughout the night.
The 13-year-old reportedly claimed he felt Miller’s arm wrapped around him the following night just before 4:00 A.M., before calling his mother to be picked up.
Farmington Central says Miller is on leave from the district, pending investigations from the district and from law enforcement.
If found guilty, Miller faces up to five years in prison.
