PEKIN, Ill. – A Pekin woman who is accused of trying to hire someone to murder her husband has been placed on house arrest.
48-year-old Allison Salinas, who was arrested Tuesday with Solicitation of Murder, appeared in court Friday for a detention hearing.
25 News reports Salinas is to not have any contact with her husband, Patrick, with a judge saying she is a threat to him, but not the community.
During the hearing, her husband blamed mental health issues on both sides, and that the situation is not what it seems to be.
Allison is accused of attempting to have a man from Texas kill her husband between 2023 and 2024.
