PEORIA, Ill. – OSF Healthcare has named a new president.
Sister M. Mikela Meidl was appointed president on Monday. She will take over the role from Michelle Conger, who will be OSF’s new CEO after Bob Sehring’s upcoming retirement in April.
Sister Meidl joined OSF in 2014 through the merger with Saint Anthony’s Health Center in Alton. Currently at OSF, she serves as an executive vice president and chief ministry officer.
“Having worked with Sister M. Mikela for over 10 years, I am confident of her leadership and her ability to help guide OSF HealthCare as we continue our Mission to serve with the greatest care and love,” Conger said, in a statement.
Sister Meidl previously served as director of nursing and the administration of a 114-bed skilled nursing facility under Saint Anthony’s.
