You’ve put the kids to bed, the youngest was a little more difficult than normal because she just didn’t want to lay still in bed…then BOOM! You jump, she jumps and starts to cry, your spouse let’s out a few choice words about your neighbor that clearly doesn’t have young children trying to sleep as they fire off roadside purchased fireworks. You try to calm your spouse down so they don’t go marching across the street to have ‘a word’, but they go…voices get a little louder and you hear the neighbor say something like…”what, you don’t love America?” Silly question, of course you do but you just want the kids to sleep, the dogs to stop barking and the family member who is a veteran with PTSD to not have anxiety. We all have that neighbor, don’t we? Deep breath…they usually only last for about a week after July 4th
