PEORIA, Ill. – An autopsy on the remains of a man found yesterday after being reported missing in June was inconclusive.
That’s according to Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood, regarding Logan Dunne, 35, whose body was found near Kickapoo Creek Sunday morning by a deer hunter.
Harwood says he will work with a forensic anthropologist in Champaign County to continue the investigation. He says he’ll release more details when he knows more.
Dunne went missing after receiving mental health treatment from a Peoria hospital.
Authorities said there were no obvious signs of foul play when Dunne’s body was found.
