The National Weather Service says multiple tornadoes touched down Monday night in Peoria County, in addition to the one in Tazewell County.
Both twisters were rated EF-0.
The first started in Monica at around 8:15 P.M. and was on the ground for a few minutes, damaging trees before lifting south of Princeville.
The other was in the Alta area, starting at Route 91 and West Club Road at 8:22 P.M. and lasting a few minutes.
It damaged trees and homes in the Trail View Estates neighborhood.

EAST PEORIA, Ill. – The National Weather Service in Lincoln has confirmed an EF-1 tornado occurred Monday night from East Peoria to Mackinaw, moving through the east side of Morton.
According to the NWS, the tornado started in East Peoria near Bloomington Road and Pleasant Hill Road, and continued along I-74 toward the north side of Morton where several buildings were damaged.
The tornado traveled through the east side of Morton near the high school, taking down trees, then continuing into rural parts of Tazewell County, north of Mackinaw.
Damage was reported in Mackinaw at the American Legion Post.
The NWS has estimated straight line winds reached 80 mph between Elmwood and Bloomington.
