PEORIA, Ill. – Two teenagers charged in connection with a shooting death at the Wood Sage Apartments last November will remain in custody until trial.
The Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office says Dayquan Diggs and Harrington Wadlington, both 17-years-old, were ordered to remain in the Juvenile Detention Center at a detention hearing Monday.
Both Diggs and Wadlington are charged with First Degree Murder in the death of 22-year-old Clay Megan in the early morning hours of November 4th.
Megan suffered a gunshot wound to the neck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police responded to the apartments after reports of four males breaking into vehicles.
