PEORIA, Ill. – The Greater Peoria Farm Show is back for its 42nd year at the Peoria Civic Center this week.
It’s Illinois’ largest indoor farm show, with all the latest information in agriculture and plans for the 2026 growing season.
RFD Radio Network’s DeLoss Jahnke says whether you’re a farmer or not, there’s no reason not to go to the show.
“Free parking, free admission. 9-4 Tuesday and Wednesday, 9-3 on Thursday,” Jahnke says.
Jahnke tells WMBD’s “Greg and Dan”, there’ll be hundreds of exhibits and daily seminars from the University of Illinois Extension.
He says AI technology is being developed to make it easier for farmers to keep their fields weed-free.
“We’re getting more and more now where they see the weeds, and they spray the weeds. They don’t broadcast, but they can use intelligence to specifically spray spots,” Jahnke says.
