PEORIA, Ill. – A woman was arrested after allegedly shooting someone in Peoria Wednesday night.
Peoria Police says officers found an adult male with a gunshot wound to the leg in the area of Lehman and North Great Oak at around 9:45 P.M.
The suspect was identified as 32-year-old Latanisha Jones, who allegedly fled the scene before police arrived, but was later found and arrested.
Police allegedly recovered a handgun in a search of her residence.
Jones was arrested for Aggravated Battery with a Firearm and Domestic Battery.
