CHILLICOTHE, Ill. – An annual music festival outside of Chillicothe will not be taking place again this year.
In a statement on its website…the organizers of Summer Camp announced Friday that the event has been cancelled for 2026.
The message cites “unforeseen financial circumstances” with a third party service provider, adding that it was placed in a position that it could not “safely” run the festival.
Organizers are asking ticket holders to refer to the point of purchase for refunds or credits.
The last full edition of Summer Camp was in 2023. It was rebranded in 2024, and had plans to move to the Peoria Riverfront in 20-25 before it was cancelled.
