PEORIA, Ill,. (25 News) – Stopping youth violence- that was the goal of Saturday’s city-wide prayer walk.
The community walk was organized by Higher Dimensions Praise and Worship Church.
Tagwana Webster told 25 News that the violence starts early, but believes prayer is a powerful tool to combat it, “Prayer changes everything.”
Organizers of the Prayerful Pace walk say they hope mentorship and prayer will help to guide the kids towards structure and support systems in the community.
