PEORIA, Ill. – Fireworks are to blame for a fire on the 4th of July in Peoria.
Peoria Fire officials say crews responded to the blaze on Saturday night at a home in the 49-hundred block of North Ogden Avenue.
Investigators said the fire was started by unattended fireworks that were left up against the side of the house.
No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $50,000.
