Civil rights attorney to speak at Peoria MLK Luncheon in January

PEORIA, Ill. – A nationally known civil rights attorney will come to Peoria in January.

Benjamin Crump has been named the keynote speaker for the 2027 Martin Luther King Luncheon.

Crump is best known for working high-profile trials involving African-Americans, including Sonya Massey, George Floyd, and Michael Brown.

The luncheon takes place on January 18th at the Peoria Civic Center.
