There seems to be so much….UGH, going on in the world with the number of people tripling since 2018 saying they currently are mentally or emotionally stressed. Calgon…TAKE ME AWAY! No Calgon, a hike in the woods helps like you wouldn’t believe. The simple act of walking through the woods hearing nothing but the sounds of Mother Nature filling your ears…and heart, is a fantastic stress reliever. Yesterdays hike was just under 5 miles, but you can do whatever your level of ‘need’, is. I stopped a couple times to just listen…listen to no talk of politics, no sounds of hate, and no coronavirus.
Although I’m not a real Doctor, take this as Dr’s orders…get out for a hike. Trust me.
