BRIMFIELD, Ill. – Severe weather made its way through central Illinois late Sunday night.
The National Weather Service in Lincoln reports a tornado briefly touched down in a field two miles south of Brimfield at around 10:20 P.M. No damage was reported.
A funnel cloud extended about halfway to the ground about three miles northeast of Elmwood.
Peoria, Knox, Marshall, and Stark Counties were under tornado warnings Sunday night.
The National Weather Service says severe weather is possible again Monday and Tuesday.
